Habitat for Humanity Nicaragua is a nonprofit organization that advocates and works for the right to decent housing and sustainable improvement of the community habitat. It promotes social and political recognition of decent housing as a basic right.
We encourage the target population to have timely access to services and products needed to produce and maintain decent housing through community development. We support the capacity building of the population for prevention, mitigation, and disaster.
Since our founding in 1984, Habitat for Humanity Nicaragua has benefited more than 17,329 families and more than 81,433 people with various alternatives for improving housing conditions throughout these years working in the country.
